Welcome to the official Website of the New Zealand Amateur Rock 'n' Roll Association (NZARRA). The aim of the NZARRA Inc is to promote, guide and foster rock ‘n’ roll dancing in New Zealand.

The Association conducts two National Championships each year.  A Junior championships is held every Easter weekend and a Senior championships is held every Labour Weekend.  Each championship is hosted by a different club in a different part of the country.

There are nearly 40 affiliated clubs throughout New Zealand with thousands of people enjoying rock'n'roll dancing and music from the era.

2010 Junior Nationals

2009 Rule Books are now available for download.   Printed Booklets are sent to all financial Clubs, Judges & Scrutineers.  Additional Copies can be purchased for $5.

The closing dates for entries to Senior Nationals is now 31st August and for Junior Nationals 31st January.

Generic Entry Forms for both Nationals are available for download.
Secretaries can down load and complete at assessment time, then send them to the Association when the entry fee is advised in November for Juniors, and July for Seniors.

The Assessment Pass Rate for the Intermediate section is now 30%.  An updated Assessment Scrutineers sheet is now available. 
Please destroy all old sheets and use only that dated May 09.
